Contemporary Home
Canberra
A contemporary family home in Canberra, built for light. The brief was simple to say and harder to build: open living spaces, a strong connection to outside, and a home that would still feel right in thirty years, not just five.
From the street it leads with a raked roofline and glazing that glows at dusk. Inside, the kitchen, dining and living areas run as one connected space: a generous island bench, considered joinery, and doors that open the living zone to a covered alfresco.
Alessandro built it with the involvement every Ottimo home gets: on site through each stage, one point of contact for the client, and finishes checked in person rather than signed off from an office.
