Knockdown Rebuild, Narrabundah

Replacing an existing home in Narrabundah, this contemporary two storey knockdown rebuild brings a confident new presence to an established street. Deep charcoal finishes, warm vertical timber detailing, pale feature brickwork and full height black framed glazing give the facade depth and balance. A broad cantilevered roofline completes the strong but carefully restrained composition.

Inside, the focus shifts to light, volume and connection. A double height entry and sculptural pendant draw the eye through the centre of the home, while generous glazing brings daylight into the kitchen and living areas. Warm joinery, stone surfaces and dark accents carry the exterior palette through the interior in a softer and more tactile way.

At the rear, the living spaces open towards the outdoor entertaining area and pool, allowing the home and garden to work together. The bathrooms continue the detailed approach through curved mirrors, twin basins and carefully considered lighting. The knockdown rebuild allowed an established Narrabundah block to be completely reimagined, with Alessandro coordinating the project from demolition through to handover.
